19 - A Play To Remember

December 7, 2015, we watched one of the greatest and most successful drama in the world, Phantom Of The Opera at the Royal Albeit Hall.

It was my first time to watch a play in a form of CD (I know the play was done live. What I meant is I am inside the theater watching. c:) All plays that I have watched are live. There were no cameras, no cutting, etc. Anyways, the play (movie) was a play to remember. It was one of the plays that hasn't really left me until now.

The lights, the music, the vocals, the actors/actresses, and everything were great. I couldn't find anything that would make it look bad. It's as if it's perfect. I could feel the emotions the actors/actresses were portraying. It actually gave me goosebumps hehe.

This being live is the biggest factor that amazed me. How could you memorize tons of lines!? And not to mention you should also have the right emotion. They (actors/actresses) didn't even hesitated or have doubts if what they are saying are the right words and also the pressure from the HUGE audience in the theater. Oh, this was also broadcasted around the world. See how could you not forget your lines with that amount of pressure!? It was really amazing that they were able to pull it off nicely.

I would seriously recommend that my friends watch this. I'm sure they would also be impressed as much as I am.

18 - Plagiarism

An act of stealing of someone's idea, thoughts, or expressions and claiming it as your own work is called Plagiarism. The word "Plagiarize" according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, means to steal and to use without crediting the source.

Plagiarism is subjected to punishments: suspension, expulsion, or penalties. For you to know if you're doing Plagiarism, here is a list:

        1. Turning in someone else's work as your own.
2. Copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit.
3. Not putting quotation marks.
4. Citing wrong information about the source.
5. Changing the words but copying the sentence structure of a source without any credit.

Schools are strict when it comes to plagiarizing. Students are given homework that involve researching information. Students tend to be lazy and just copy paste it without citing sources and that's why teachers have their own "plagiarize checkers" with them when they check homework submitted to them.

If a student is caught of Plagiarism, he/she may be expelled from school or be suspended. Now that's just in school but what if it is done in the public like in competitions over the world. Who knows what will they do to you once they found out your work is plagiarized.
